On the 21st, Suwon City announced that due to the recent spread of the Omicron variant virus and the significant increase in the number of recipients of living support funds for COVID-19 inpatients and isolated individuals, it has formed the "COVID-19 Living Support Fund Task Force (TF)" to resolve inconveniences caused by delays in consultation, application, and payment of the living support funds.
The TF will review living support fund applications received from each neighborhood, verify eligibility, and promptly disburse the living support funds.
Along with the operation of the TF, Suwon City will also hire temporary workers for three months from April to June to support tasks related to the COVID-19 living support fund. A total of 61 temporary workers will be assigned across 44 neighborhoods to assist with civil complaints, consultations, and application processing related to the living support fund.
The city is recruiting temporary workers until the 22nd of this month. Applicants can download and fill out the resume from the Suwon City website and submit it to the administrative welfare center of their residential neighborhood.
A city official emphasized, "We will ensure that there are no inconveniences such as delays in consultation and application due to the surge in COVID-19 inpatients and isolated individuals," and added, "We will do our best to ensure stable payment of the living support funds."
