Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "Lee Geun and 9 Others Entered Ukraine... Have Not Departed Yet"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 18th that nine people, including former Captain Lee Geun, have entered Ukraine to join the volunteer army.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "It has been confirmed that nine of our citizens, including former Captain Lee, entered Ukraine through neighboring countries after March 2 and have not yet left."
These nine individuals are not included in the count of remaining Korean residents compiled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry believes that a significant number of them entered to participate in the Ukrainian volunteer army.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "We are making efforts to verify the whereabouts of the aforementioned individuals," and urged, "Citizens should strictly recognize that Ukraine is currently at war and refrain from entering Ukraine without permission."
