SSG.com's 99 Deal Event Works... 38% Increase in First-Time SSG Delivery Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] SSG.com announced on the 20th that it has achieved significant success in attracting new customers through the ‘99 Deal Event,’ which offers one popular product at a 99% discount to new and dormant customers.
According to SSG.com, during the five 99 Deal events held since December last year, the number of customers using the time-specified delivery service SSG Delivery for the first time increased by an average of 38% compared to the same period last year. These customers accounted for 61% of all new customers acquired during the same period. In particular, new SSG Delivery customers from the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) increased by an average of 60%.
SSG.com will hold an additional ‘99 Deal’ event from the 21st to the 27th. A 99% discount coupon will be provided to new customers and customers who have not made a purchase since March 1 of last year. There are six products eligible for the coupon, including grocery items such as chamoe (Korean melon), ready meals, body wash, and living products such as Lock&Lock rice containers. Additionally, three free shipping coupons can be used for purchases of SSG Delivery or Dawn Delivery products over 10,000 won.
