Korea-France Defense and Space Director-General Level Working Meeting Held
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] The Ministry of National Defense announced on the 18th that it held the first Korea-France defense space sector director-level working consultation over two days on the 17th and 18th (local time) in Paris, France.
On the Korean side, Jo Yong-geun, Director of North Korea Policy at the Ministry of National Defense, attended as the chief representative, while on the French side, Bertrand Le Maire, Director of Defense Strategy at the Ministry of Defense's International Relations and Strategy Headquarters, and Michel Friedling, Commander of the Space Command, participated.
During the meeting, both sides shared their respective defense space policies, space capabilities, and international space norms, agreed on exchanges of space experts, and discussed future development directions.
