President Moon: "Quick Dialogue with Yoon Soon... Coordination Not Absolutely Necessary" (Comprehensive)
Caution in Expressing Opinions of Aides Including Tak Hyun-min
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in stated on the 18th that "it is a duty to the people to have a conversation with President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol as soon as possible," but added that coordination is not necessarily required.
During a meeting with aides that day, President Moon said, "I don't think any coordination is absolutely necessary," and added, "The door of the Blue House is always open."
He also instructed not to express individual opinions on social networking services (SNS) or through the media regarding President-elect Yoon's pledges or the direction of national governance.
This appears to refer to Chief Protocol Secretary Tak Hyun-min of the Blue House expressing opposition to the transition team's 'office relocation' through Facebook, saying, "If we are not going to use this (Blue House), can we just use it?" and "We will gather good people and manage it well."
