Samsung Bioepis Holds 'Metaverse' Recruitment Briefing Session
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Samsung Bioepis announced on the 18th that it held a recruitment briefing session called 'Episero toGATHER' for university (graduate) students aiming for new employee recruitment in the first half of this year, using a metaverse platform over two days from the 16th to the 17th.
The event, held over four sessions, took place in a virtual space built to closely resemble the actual Samsung Bioepis headquarters, with about 300 job seekers attending.
Samsung Bioepis prepared various programs including a company introduction and technical lectures where department heads shared basic knowledge about the bio industry. In particular, it provided opportunities for one-on-one recruitment consultations with current Samsung Bioepis employees, allowing participants to freely exchange extensive information about job roles.
Participants in the recruitment briefing said, "It was a great opportunity to hear answers to questions about employment and career paths from industry professionals," and added, "The honest experiences and advice from current employees will be very helpful in preparing for employment."
Previously, during the last winter vacation period, Samsung Bioepis conducted a job mentoring program that provided practical employment information to job seekers. Through this, about 120 university (graduate) students participated as mentees and received job information, required competencies, and employment know-how from about 40 mentors who were Samsung Bioepis employees with 4 to 5 years of experience.
