Jeju Island, 2022 1st Integrated Recruitment for Public Institution Employees
10 Institutions Select 68 Candidates... Online Applications April 1-7, Written Exam April 23
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Chang-won] Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 17th that it will conduct the ‘2022 1st Integrated Public Institution Recruitment Examination’ to select 68 employees for 10 public institutions under the province.
The planned number of recruits by institution is ▲Jeju Development Corporation 25 ▲Jeju Energy Corporation 2 ▲Jeju 4·3 Peace Foundation 2 ▲Jeju Lifelong Education Scholarship Promotion Agency 3 ▲Jeju Film and Culture Industry Promotion Agency 2 ▲Seogwipo Medical Center 2 ▲Jeju Economic and Trade Promotion Agency 4 ▲Jeju Credit Guarantee Foundation 3 ▲Jeju Technopark 14 ▲Jeju Social Service Agency 11.
For detailed information such as the number of recruits, eligibility requirements, and exam subjects, refer to the recruitment announcement on the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Integrated Public Institution Recruitment website, Jeju Province website, and the respective public institution websites.
The application period is from the 1st to the 7th of next month, and applications can only be submitted online through the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Integrated Public Institution Recruitment website.
Duplicate applications by institution or field are not allowed.
Additionally, to create local jobs, eligibility is restricted to residents of the province for a certain period; however, exceptions are made for specialized fields where local workforce supply is difficult.
The written exam will be held on the 23rd of next month, and the exam locations will be separately announced through the integrated recruitment website and the province’s and institutions’ websites.
To ensure transparent and fair evaluation, the entire recruitment process will be conducted in a blind manner, and a resident interview observation system will be operated.
After procedures including the written exam, document screening, and interviews, the final successful candidates will be announced on June 8.
Kang Jae-seop, Director of the General Affairs Division of Jeju Province, said, “We will strictly follow quarantine guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of applicants during the recruitment exam,” adding, “We hope this opportunity will revitalize the stagnant local job market and provide energy to local talents struggling with employment difficulties through the recruitment of public institution employees.”
Meanwhile, as part of enhancing transparency and fairness in recruitment for public institutions under Jeju Province, the integrated public institution recruitment, which has been conducted since 2019, has selected 344 people from 13 institutions over the past three years.
