Kyochon F&B Achieves Record High Sales of 500 Billion KRW Last Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Kyochon F&B, the operator of Kyochon Chicken, achieved its highest-ever performance last year by surpassing 500 billion KRW in sales.
Kyochon F&B announced on the 16th that its consolidated sales last year reached 507.6 billion KRW, a 13.4% increase compared to the previous year. Operating profit remained steady at 41 billion KRW, while net profit increased by 25.2% to 29.8 billion KRW.
Kyochon F&B's performance was influenced by improvements in overseas business results and the success of new ventures. The UAE Dubai’s first store, ‘Deira City Center Branch,’ which opened in December last year, recorded sales of 460,000 dirhams (approximately 150 million KRW) within a month, showing promising results.
