Bokwang General Construction Donates 100 Million KRW to Support Wildfire Damage in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sang-won) announced on the 15th that Bokwang General Construction (Chairman Park Cheol-hong) recently donated 100 million won to support the restoration and aid of the wildfire-affected areas along the East Coast, including Gangwon and Gyeongbuk regions.
At the donation ceremony, Park Soo-beom, director of Bokwang General Construction, and Han Sang-won, chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, attended.
Director Park Soo-beom said, “I extend my condolences to the community residents who lost their homes due to the sudden large-scale disaster,” adding, “I pray for the safety of those working on-site to extinguish the fire and hope for the swift return to daily life for the affected residents.”
