Huneed to Supply 'Core Components' for US Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] Global defense and aerospace company Hunid Technologies has signed an 'avionics system supply contract' with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI).
According to Hunid on the 15th, GA-ASI is a company that produces advanced U.S. military unmanned aerial vehicles such as the MQ-9 Reaper. This contract with GA-ASI is an extension of their ongoing cooperative relationship. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in 2017 to develop strategic partnership areas. At the '2021 ADEX' event last October, they pledged to collaborate in engineering, development, testing, and manufacturing of avionics systems applied to GA-ASI's unmanned aerial vehicles.
Hunid plans to expand its supply of avionics systems to all unmanned aerial vehicle platforms of GA-ASI by officially supplying avionics systems to GA-ASI.
