North Korea Intensifies Criticism... "Those Who Enjoy Fire Will Burn to Death"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] North Korean media is intensifying its criticism of South Korea and the United States' defense cooperation.
The external propaganda outlet Uriminzokkiri, in an article titled "Those Who Play with Fire Are Bound to Perish in Fire" on the 14th, referred to the December last year South Korea-U.S. Security Consultative Meeting (SCM) and claimed it was a "reckless military provocation aimed at bringing about the devastation of nuclear war."
The outlet stated, "They have always talked about dialogue, peace, and easing tensions, but behind the scenes, they have been sharpening the sword of invasion against the North, engaging in murderous war planning, and scheming to use the U.S.'s nuclear weapons," adding, "This shameless double-dealing and extremely vicious confrontational behavior."
