Support, Donations, Goods, Livestock Treatment, and Agricultural Machinery Repair Volunteer Activities

Gyeongbuk Province announced that since the wildfire occurred until the 14th, agricultural organizations such as the Korea Federation of Agricultural Management, the Korean Beef and Pork Associations, and Nonghyup have visited the disaster sites to comfort local residents and are providing support in various ways, including donations.
On the 11th, executives from the Korea Federation of Agricultural Management Central Federation and the Gyeongbuk Federation rushed to the site and delivered a donation of 7 million won, expressing their intention to assist in various ways such as manpower support.
The Korea Pork Producers Association Gyeongbuk Council donated 30 million won, and the Korea Dairy and Beef Cattle Association Gyeongbuk Branch donated 5 million won. The Yeongdeok Korean Beef Association also supported 15 tons of rice straw and other hay.
On the 10th, the National Korean Beef Association and the Gyeongbuk Branch also supported 4,000 packs of Korean beef soup worth about 20 million won, water supply facilities, water trucks, and 250 tons of vacuum-packed rice straw, and the Eco-friendly Agriculture Federation also donated 1.5 million won.
In addition, since the 8th, Nonghyup Economic Holdings and the Korea Agricultural Machinery Industry Cooperative have been operating agricultural machinery repair volunteer teams on site, and the Gyeongbuk Veterinary Association has urgently dispatched 20 veterinarians who are working hard providing on-site medical care.
The Gyeongbuk Federation of Farm Housewives visited the affected areas on the 12th to volunteer for clothing and blanket washing. Various hands are reaching out from all over the country through donations, goods, agricultural materials support, and volunteer activities.
The Jeonbuk Iksan City Federation of the Korea Federation of Agricultural Management visited in person with the president and executives to deliver a donation of 4.7 million won, and the Jeonnam Korean Beef Association also directly brought 35 tons of rice straw and other hay to help Korean beef farming households.
