Housing Spring Breeze, 17,000 Units Supplied in Seoul Metropolitan Area New Towns and Residential Districts
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] This spring, 17,000 households will be supplied in new towns and housing sites in the Seoul metropolitan area.
According to Real Today, a real estate research firm, from March to May this year, a total of 17,755 households across 22 complexes will be supplied in new towns and housing sites in the Seoul metropolitan area, including pre-sale and newlywed hope towns. This is about 58.4% more than the supply during the same period and region last year (16 complexes, 11,207 households).
By city/province, the supply will be ▲Hwaseong, Gyeonggi (5,163 households) ▲Seo-gu, Incheon (3,324 households) ▲Paju, Gyeonggi (3,295 households) ▲Namyangju, Gyeonggi (2,365 households) ▲Uiwang, Gyeonggi (1,410 households) ▲Osan, Gyeonggi (1,176 households), among others.
The largest supply is in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, where two complexes will be offered in Bibong District this month. Geumseong Baekjo Construction plans to launch ‘Hwaseong Bibong Yemiji Central Edu’ at B-3 block in Bibong District, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, by the end of this month. The complex consists of 10 buildings with 1 basement floor and up to 25 floors above ground, with exclusive areas of 76 and 84 square meters, totaling 917 households.
In the same month, WooMi Construction will supply ‘Hwaseong Bibong District WooMi Lin’ at B-4 block in Bibong District, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. The complex has 2 basement floors and 25 floors above ground, with exclusive areas of 85 square meters, totaling 798 households.
The second largest supply is in Seo-gu, Incheon, where Geumgang Housing will offer ‘Geomdan Station Geumgang Penterium The Siglo 2nd Phase’ at RC-4 block in Geomdan New Town. The complex consists of 483 apartments (exclusive area 84 square meters) and 64 officetel units (exclusive area 39 square meters).
