Over 2.5 Million Ukrainian Refugees in Just Two Weeks Since Russian Invasion
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, 2.5 million people have fled Ukraine.
Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), announced on Twitter on the 11th (local time) that "the number of refugees who have evacuated from Ukraine (abroad) has tragically reached 2.5 million."
He estimated that "the number of internally displaced persons within Ukraine is also about 2 million," and lamented, "Millions have had to leave their homes due to this meaningless war."
