‘Golf Goddess’ Pro Yu Hyun-joo Re-signs as Model with Aivazar
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Daily self-care cosmetic brand Aivazar (CEO Park Jungyu) announced on the 11th that it has renewed its contract with professional golfer Yoo Hyun-joo as the brand model this year, following last year.
Last year, as the number of golf players increased, professional golfer Yoo Hyun-joo signed a brand advertising model contract with Aivazar, a cosmetic patch specialist brand.
An Aivazar official stated, “Selecting professional golfer Yoo Hyun-joo, whose healthy and beautiful (H&B) self-care image fits well, as the model greatly contributed to raising brand awareness.”
With the spread of COVID-19 leading to an increase in golf players, a large influx of young golfers in their 20s and 30s from the 'MZ generation' has occurred, resulting in a growing number of customers concerned about ultraviolet exposure due to outdoor activities.
Aivazar targeted these customer groups as their main audience and applied years of accumulated experience and know-how in operating premium patch products to launch pigmentation patches. These have been successfully sold through various distribution channels such as home shopping, Olive Young, and Costco. As a result, Aivazar has established pigmentation patches as a core product of the brand, following lifting mask packs.
Park Jungyu, CEO of Aivazar International, said, “Last year, professional golfer Yoo Hyun-joo’s role as the brand model greatly helped the successful establishment of this golf patch product, leading to the renewal of the brand model contract. We will continue to introduce various products that consider golfers’ skin as a cosmetic brand.”
