The Korean Medical Association Donates Funds for Wildfire Victims in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The Korean Medical Association (KMA), together with the Gangwon Medical Association and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Medical Association, delivered donations to help the victims of the wildfires in Gangneung, Samcheok, and Donghae cities in Gangwon Province, and Uljin County in Gyeongsangbuk-do, which were declared special disaster areas.
On the 10th, KMA President Lee Pil-su and Gangwon Medical Association President Kim Taek-woo visited the Gangwon Provincial Office and donated 27.5 million won to support the wildfire victims. Following this, President Lee, along with Gyeongsangbuk-do Medical Association President Lee Woo-seok, delivered another 27.5 million won to the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Office.

President Lee stated, “All KMA members are supporting the victims who have suffered great damage due to this unexpected disaster, hoping they can recover as soon as possible,” and added, “We will do our utmost to provide medical support so that the victims in the affected areas can return to their daily lives promptly.”
