Damyang-gun Supports Rapid Antigen Test Kits for Infection-Vulnerable Groups
Targeting 6,929 Infection-Vulnerable Individuals... Minimizing Spread Through Proactive Testing
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang County, Jeonnam announced on the 10th that it will provide free rapid antigen test kits to vulnerable groups susceptible to infection, such as infants and toddlers in daycare centers, elderly welfare facility users, and beneficiaries, who have low immunity levels and are easily exposed to infection risks due to group living.
The county plans to sequentially distribute about 50,000 rapid antigen test kits to a total of 6,929 people by the end of this month, including 692 infants, toddlers, and staff at daycare centers, 2,218 elderly welfare facility users, 203 pregnant women, 517 people at child, disabled, homeless, and mental health promotion facilities, and 3,299 beneficiaries, lower-income groups, and severely disabled individuals.
Rapid antigen test kits will be supplied to institutions and facilities for users of daycare centers, elderly welfare facilities, and child facilities, while beneficiaries and lower-income groups will receive kits at their local town or township offices.
