Foreign Artists' Art Exhibition in Gwangju Region Held at Gwangju University Until the 24th
24 Works Featuring the Theme of 'Jigu Climate' Presented
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] An art exhibition titled ‘Expression’ by six foreign female artists residing in Gwangju is being held at the Hosim Art Museum of Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) until the 24th.
In this exhibition, the six artists presented a total of 24 works that express their thoughts on the current global climate in both public and personal ways.
The participating artists include Olivia Lorel, a professor in the Department of Basic Liberal Arts at Gwangju University and the exhibition planner, as well as Tayla Natasha Bota, Christine Bedessi, Anya Bon, Lisa May Casaus, and Dana Marvin.
They have been praised for creatively and freely expressing their unique artistic visions using acrylic, pastel, ink, and thick moisture-proof paper and canvas with cotton strings.

Choi Jun-ho, director of the Hosim Art Museum, said, “The exhibition was organized as an opportunity to share thoughts on the global climate and individual perspectives on ‘expat living,’” adding, “They have excellently expressed their experiences as foreigners and various emotions regarding the local environment.”
