Recruitment for 'Hwangyeong Mippeumdan' and 'Flying Together' Participants Starts from the 7th... Applications Available via 1365 Portal Site
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is recruiting residents who can actively volunteer for the community.
First, the district is recruiting and operating the neighborhood environmental guardians called the ‘Hwangyeong Mippeumdan’ to raise awareness about environmental issues such as pollution and climate change and to provide opportunities to participate in various environmental volunteer activities.
‘Hwangyeong Mippeumdan’ means a volunteer group united by a trustworthy heart committed to protecting the environment.
Participants will engage in activities for one month, attending preliminary training and then divided into teams to carry out two local environmental cleanup activities and create one environmental-related card news.
The target participants are youths residing in Gwangjin-gu from middle school to university students, and applications will be accepted through the 1365 portal site starting March 7.
After March 7, recruitment will be conducted bimonthly (May, July, September), with 30 people per session from the second Monday to the fourth Thursday of each month.
Volunteering hours will be recognized upon submission of a results report after each activity, with a maximum of 10 hours possible.
Additionally, the district will recruit participants for the ‘Flying Together’ volunteer activity starting March 7.
‘Flying Together’ is a project where participants proactively plan and execute volunteer activities, designed to provide diverse volunteering opportunities beyond one-time events. The target is groups of three or more, such as families or friends.
Applications are accepted anytime through the 1365 portal site, and volunteer activities can be freely conducted within Gwangjin-gu from March to December.
Participants attend preliminary training and orientation, then submit an execution plan within one month based on the training content and carry out activities within 10 days.
Submission of a results report including activity photos will recognize volunteer hours, and if continuous activities are desired, a new execution plan can be submitted.
