[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] The number of COVID-19 confirmed cases within the military continues to rise steadily. The cumulative number of confirmed cases has increased to 27,717, with 7,048 currently under management.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 8th, 1,055 new COVID-19 cases were added that day. The additional confirmed cases by affiliation are: Army 642, Air Force 146, Navy 113, Ministry of National Defense direct units 84, Marine Corps 55, Joint Chiefs of Staff 6, Ministry of National Defense 7, and Combined Forces Command 1.
