Musinsa Receives 2,000 Applications for First New MD Recruitment... "Competition Rate Up to 100 to 1"
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Musinsa announced on the 8th that, for the first time since its founding, it publicly recruited entry-level Merchandisers (MDs), receiving about 2,000 applications and recording a competition rate of up to 100 to 1. Over 800 applicants also applied for experienced MD positions.
From the 21st of last month until the day before, Musinsa accepted applications for entry-level and experienced MD positions across categories such as casual, men's, women's, luxury, golf, and kids. Musinsa MDs are responsible for discovering and onboarding new brands by category, sourcing trendy products through brand sales, and managing promotions and events.
Musinsa stated, "There were many applicants for experienced MD positions from well-known large companies in the distribution, IT, and platform industries."

Musinsa will notify applicants of the document screening results within this month and proceed with additional selection processes such as interviews.
