Honam University, KF Global e-School Online Meeting with Local Professors in Russia
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Honam University discussed the operation plan for Korean language education while communicating with local university professors in Russia and other countries.
Honam University, selected for the ‘2022 KF Global e-School Korean Language Education Project’ hosted by the Korea Foundation (KF), announced on the 8th that it held a real-time online meeting with local professors from Bashkir State University in Russia (Professors Yunusova Alaya and Oh Kyung-hee), Chelyabinsk State University in Russia (Professor Pachina Veronica), and Azerbaijan University of Technology (Professor Yuliya Mammadova).
The non-face-to-face meeting was attended by Honam University’s KF Global e-School principal researcher and assistant researchers, as well as professors from Bashkir State University, Chelyabinsk State University, and Azerbaijan University of Technology, where they discussed efficient operation methods for online Korean language education content at local universities.
Professor Yoon Young of Honam University’s Korean Language Department said, “Honam University plans to provide practical education by closely communicating with local professors and arranging real-time small group conversation sessions with students.”

Supported by the Korea Foundation, Honam University will provide Korean language education VOD videos for various subjects to 10 universities in 6 countries including Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, China, and Azerbaijan for three years starting from March this year.
