Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Conducts Consulting on 'Labor Management for Educational Public Officials'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 6th that starting from the 8th, it will conduct 'on-site, customized consulting' for labor management officers of educational public service workers at schools (institutions) twice to three times a week throughout the year.
This consulting was planned in response to the increased educational demand from school (institution) practitioners due to the duties of educational public service workers, and it plans to conduct on-site customized consulting by directly visiting schools (institutions) at all levels.
Also, with a focus on strengthening labor management expertise, time will be spent learning and practicing the interpretation of labor-related laws and regulations, as well as wage and service compliance standards, together with professional personnel such as certified labor attorneys affiliated with the Office of Education.
In particular, this consulting reflects the collective agreement with the Gwangju Regional School Irregular Workers Solidarity Conference in 2021 and the wage agreement with the National School Irregular Workers Solidarity Conference this year.
It provides detailed guidance on the newly changed wage and service contents for educational public service workers to minimize confusion on site and promote uniformity in labor management.
It also introduces various conflict cases that may arise in labor relations to prevent conflicts and enhance on-site responsiveness, thereby improving the job competency of the work officers.
