HMM Considering Suspension of Russia Far East Route Operations
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] HMM is considering suspending its cargo services on the Russian Far East routes.
According to the shipping industry on the 3rd, HMM is reviewing the suspension of services on two of its three Russian cargo routes, specifically the Far East routes to Vladivostok and Vostochny.
Since the 28th of last month, HMM has stopped accepting bookings for services to Saint Petersburg. HMM no longer directly ships cargo to Saint Petersburg. However, it has also ceased the service of offloading cargo destined for Saint Petersburg en route to Europe.
