The meeting was attended by external private experts such as fire facility managers and related personnel from local target sites, and was organized to resolve issues such as waste of firefighting resources and decreased fire response capability caused by false fire alarm misreports.

A Dongbu Fire Station official stated, "Frequent malfunctions of fire facilities lead to waste of firefighting resources and reduce trust in fire facilities, raising concerns about failure in initial response during actual fires," adding, "We will strive to protect citizens' safety through continuous attention and improvement of false fire alarm malfunctions."
