“Looking to Travel in Hamyang for a Month?” … Hamyang County Opens First Recruitment for ‘One-Month Travel’ Program This Year
Long-Term Stay Travel Followed by Personal SNS Promotion, Applications Accepted Until March 18
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting participants for the first round of this year’s “Travel in Hamyang for a Month” program, which was first launched last year and received great response, from the 7th to the 18th.
Applications are open to anyone aged 19 or older residing outside the Gyeongnam area, and 15 teams (1 to 2 people per team) who actively promote Hamyang tourism through personal SNS activities will be given preferential selection.
Selected participants will choose a travel period between a minimum of 2 nights and 3 days and a maximum of 29 nights and 30 days during April to May. They will plan and undertake individual free travel, and after posting at least two travel photos per day on their personal SNS to promote Hamyang tourist spots, they will receive support for accommodation fees (up to 50,000 KRW per day) and experience fees (50,000 to 80,000 KRW per person).
A county official said, “Last year, as demand for non-face-to-face safe tourist destinations increased due to COVID-19, many tourists participated in the ‘Travel in Hamyang for a Month’ program in the clean area of Jirisan. We hope visitors will enjoy many attractive spots and heal themselves again this year.”
