The attendees first expressed strong regret over Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which violates the UN Charter and international law, and goes against the aspirations of the international community.
They also emphasized the principle that Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected and that disputes should be resolved peacefully through diplomacy.
They then urged Russia to immediately cease its invasion of Ukraine and agreed to participate in the international community's efforts to peacefully resolve the situation, including economic sanctions against Russia as a responsible member of the international community.
Furthermore, to protect South Korean nationals and businesses on site, they decided to further strengthen the government-wide 24-hour emergency response system and to work closely with related countries to minimize the negative impact on the South Korean economy.
