Boseong-gun Serializes Author Jeong Chan-ju's Novel 'Boseonggang-ui Norae' on County Website
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 24th that from the 4th of next month until October, it will serialize the full-length historical novel "Boseonggang-ui Norae" by writer Jeong Chan-ju every Friday on the Boseong-gun Office website.
The novel "Boseonggang-ui Norae" is a full-length novel depicting the story of Boseong militia leaders who rose up resolutely for the country in crisis during the Imjin War.
"Boseonggang-ui Norae" reexamines the loyalty of scholars Park Gwang-jeon and Im Gye-young, militia leaders during the Imjin War, and the Boseong militia and civilians who fought selflessly, and will be serialized in a total of 33 installments, about 35 pages each week, as a full-length historical novel promoting the spirit of Boseong, the city of loyalty.
Boseong-gun planned the serialization on the county website to pass on the noble spirit of patriotism and filial piety to future generations by reexamining the life and achievements of the Boseong militia leaders, and to widely promote the pride and self-esteem of the loyal people of Boseong, the hometown of loyalty.
The full-length historical novel "Boseonggang-ui Norae" is linked to an e-book through a popup window on the county website.
Meanwhile, writer Jeong Chan-ju was born in 1953 in Boseong, Jeollanam-do, and debuted in 1983 after winning the Korea Literature Newcomer Award.
