Hyundai Engineering Appoints Vice President Hong Hyun-seong as New CEO
Hyundai Engineering has promoted Executive Director Hong Hyun-seong, head of the Plant Business Division, to Vice President and appointed him as CEO on the 24th.
Vice President Hong is known to have been recognized not only for business operations but also for his ability to anticipate and manage risks while serving as head of the Plant Business Division. He plans to diversify the business portfolio, strengthen competitiveness in EPC projects, and drive the transition to future new businesses focused on energy and the environment.
Hyundai Engineering stated, "We appointed him as CEO in recognition of his global business capabilities," adding, "We expect him to accelerate efforts for sustainable growth in the future."

Hyundai Engineering plans to officially appoint Vice President Hong as CEO through the regular shareholders' meeting and board of directors in March. Kim Chang-hak, who has served as CEO since 2019 and contributed to profitability improvement, has been appointed as an advisor.
