GC Green Cross launches Allgain 'Plant-Based Protein Shake'
Contains Plant-Based Protein and Organic Ingredients
Enhanced Convenience with RTD Formulation
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] GC Green Cross announced on the 18th that it has launched a new product, the plant-based protein shake from the organic plant-based protein brand 'Orgain.' Orgain has been exclusively supplied by GC Green Cross in Korea since 2020 and is the number one brand in the U.S. plant-based protein market.
The 'Plant-Based Protein Shake' contains 20g of pea protein and 10 kinds of organic fruits and vegetables. It is free from lactose, animal fat, cholesterol, and gluten, making it a healthy choice for consumers.
This new product is in an RTD (Ready-To-Drink) form that can be consumed immediately without mixing with water or soy milk, enhancing consumer convenience. It has also received NSF certification for plant-based products from the National Sanitation Foundation and kosher certification for products processed according to Jewish dietary laws.
Considering customer preferences, the flavor is realized with organic cocoa and natural chocolate aroma. The company explained that the high protein content supports bone and muscle health, boosts immunity, and makes it suitable as a nutritious meal replacement.
Lee In-gyu, brand manager at GC Green Cross, said, “As consumer interest in health increases, we have introduced a protein shake product that considers ingredients and components. We plan to continuously expand the lineup reflecting consumer preferences.”
