On the 15th (local time), Secretary Liz Truss told Sky News, "The likelihood of Russia invading Ukraine remains very high, and the situation could unfold at any time."
Secretary Truss said that if Russian troops enter Ukraine, they could quickly reach the capital, Kyiv.
He added, "The timing of the attack may be imminent," and "They will reach Kyiv very, very quickly."
The UK government also stated that it is on high alert for Russian deception operations in the coming days.
