FreshEasy Signs Convenience Meal Product Development MOU with Kangwon Land
Planned Joint Development and Sale of Premium Meal Kits and Ready-to-Eat Products

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Fresh Easy announced on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement with Kangwon Land to jointly develop premium meal kits and home meal replacement (HMR) products.
The two companies held a signing ceremony on the 14th at Kangwon Land's Seoul office in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and signed a business agreement focusing on ▲development of premium meal kits and convenience food products ▲business cooperation for product manufacturing and sales ▲facility support at High1 Resort for product marketing. The ceremony was attended by Kangwon Land CEO Lee Sam-geol and Fresh Easy co-CEO Jung Joong-kyo, among others.
Through this agreement, Kangwon Land, a leader in the domestic tourism industry, and the private company will collaborate to establish a new business model and plan to contribute to revitalizing the local economy by planning products utilizing famous restaurants and specialties from four cities and counties in the southern abandoned mining areas of Gangwon Province.
Fresh Easy will develop convenience food products using recipes from various dining brands within High1 Resort, including Grand Table and in-room dining, which are owned by Kangwon Land.
Kangwon Land has introduced meal kit products for family resort guests and visitors, and through collaboration with Fresh Easy, it will expand its product lineup for sale and broaden distribution and sales channels nationwide.
