Free 1:1 Real Estate Consultations Every Second and Fourth Wednesday Starting February 23 to Protect Residents' Property Rights and Housing Stability
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gangdong-gu (District Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) will operate the 'Real Estate Expert Consultation System' starting February 23 to contribute to the protection of residents' property rights and housing stability.
The 'Real Estate Expert Consultation System' is a program that appoints experts with abundant legal knowledge and experience to provide consultation in order to address changes in real estate transactions and lease contracts and to resolve residents' questions.
Although there are legal offices and consultation centers operated by Seoul City, many residents feel distant and hesitate to seek consultation. To address this, the district is implementing this consultation system, expecting it to provide practical help in resolving legal issues such as the three major housing lease laws.
Consultations will be held by appointment every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 2 PM to 4 PM in the meeting room of Gangdong-gu Office, and the consultation service is free of charge.
The consultation topics will include ▲real estate sales contracts ▲housing lease contracts ▲right to request contract renewal ▲limit on rent increases ▲preparation of transaction contracts, focusing on real estate transactions and leases closely related to daily life.
Residents who wish to receive consultation can make an appointment in advance by visiting the Real Estate Information Division of Gangdong-gu Office, calling by phone, or through the Gangdong-gu Office website (General Civil Affairs → Consultation Report Center → Consultation Support).
