Lee Yubin (Yonsei University) and Choi Minjeong (Seongnam City Hall) advanced to the women's 1000m semifinals at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
On the 11th, Lee Yubin finished first in the women's 1000m quarterfinal heat 2 at the Beijing Capital Indoor Stadium with a time of 1 minute 29.120 seconds. She comfortably outpaced Mami Baini (USA), Natalia Maliszewska (Poland), Yekaterina Yefremenkova, and Anna Bostrikova (both ROC).
