Citibank Korea announced on the 11th that it held a sponsorship agreement ceremony for the 'Dream Together' program with 'Sinnaneun Johap' at Citibank Korea in Jongno-gu, Seoul the previous day, delivering approximately 210 million KRW in sponsorship funds from the Citi Foundation.
The Dream Together program was established to assist adolescents raised in protective facilities and young adults whose protection period under the Child Welfare Act has ended in smoothly entering society. Starting this year, Citibank Korea, together with Sinnaneun Johap, plans to support stable and practical independence for youth in child welfare facilities and young adults preparing for independence, from the preparation stage through social settlement.
Specifically, through the 'Dream Challenge School,' various exploration opportunities regarding higher education, employment, and entrepreneurship will be provided to adolescents aged 16 to 18 in child welfare facilities. For young adults aged 18 and over preparing for independence, the 'Dream Achievement Project' will offer vocational training, internships, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
