According to the industry on the 11th, Nespresso announced on its website that it will raise the prices of some capsule coffee products by about 6% starting from the 22nd of this month.
For example, Vertuo capsule products (Diavolito, Il Caff?, Altissio, Oracio, Voltesso) will increase from the previous lowest price of 650 won to 690 won.
Nespresso explained, "Due to exceptional economic factors, we have decided to slightly increase coffee prices," adding, "Vertuo will start from 690 won, and Original will start from 590 won, allowing customers to choose coffee according to their preferences."
Capsule coffee distributed domestically has already seen consecutive price increases since the beginning of this year. Earlier, Nestl? Korea raised capsule coffee prices by an average of 10% starting from the 1st of last month. Nestl? Korea operates capsule coffee brands such as Nescaf? Dolce Gusto and Starbucks At Home. Following the price adjustment, the price of Starbucks capsules sold through the coffee subscription service 'Capsule To Door' and the online exclusive mall increased from 7,900 won to 8,700 won. Prices of about 30 varieties of Starbucks coffee beans sold by Nestl? Korea in domestic distribution channels also rose by 10%.
