Man in his 30s who killed parents and older brother urgently arrested... Police to apply for arrest warrant (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man who killed his parents in their 60s and his older brother in his 30s at an apartment in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, was arrested by the police.
The Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul announced on the 10th that they had urgently detained a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on suspicion of killing three family members.
Mr. Kim reported to 119 at around 6:50 a.m. that day, saying "I killed three people," and the police were notified of the report by the fire department and rushed to the scene.
It is known that all three were found dead when the police arrived at the scene.
Mr. Kim reportedly stated during the police investigation that he had previously received psychiatric treatment.
Mr. Kim injured his hand during the crime and is receiving treatment at a hospital, but he also had a fever and underwent a COVID-19 PCR test.
The police plan to investigate Mr. Kim as soon as he finishes treatment and apply for an arrest warrant around the 11th.
