Answer calls during procedures... KT expands supply of 'AI Call Secretary' to beauty salons
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT announced on the 10th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Beauty Association Central Committee to provide the 'AI Call Secretary Service' to small beauty salon owners nationwide. Through this, it is expected that more than 10,000 beauty salons across the country will be able to experience the AI Call Secretary Service within this year.
The signing ceremony held on the morning of the 10th at the Beauty Hall in Seocho-gu, Seoul, was attended by Seong Won-je, Executive Director of KT Gangnam West Corporate Customer Headquarters, Lee Seon-sim, President of the Korea Beauty Association Central Committee, and officials from both organizations. Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in supplying the AI Call Secretary to members of the Korea Beauty Association nationwide.
The AI Call Secretary is a call-based assistant service where AI answers customer calls on behalf of busy small business owners and responds appropriately according to the situation. Since AI performs a kind of customer center role, it can respond to customer calls received during beauty treatments, after work, or on days off at any time.
Requests left by customers can be checked through a smartphone app, and personalized promotional phrases can be registered and used for marketing purposes. KT is running a promotion offering the AI Call Secretary service free for three months upon subscription by April 21, and a 50% discount for one year starting from the fourth month.
Lee Seon-sim, President of the Korea Beauty Association Central Committee, said, “The spread of the AI Call Secretary will contribute to improving the management environment and quality of life for our beauty professionals, including customer management and work-life balance realization,” and added, “It is expected that more than 10,000 association members will experience the AI Call Secretary within this year.”
Seong Won-je, Executive Director of KT Gangnam West Corporate Customer Headquarters, said, “Through the AI Call Secretary, even one-person businesses will be able to smoothly handle customer responses,” and added, “In the future, we will actively support not only the AI Call Secretary but also various AI services that can help beauty salon management.”
