Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation Hosts Online Lecture Featuring Renowned Humanities Scholars
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] The Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-koo Foundation will live stream the Future Knowledge Forum on the foundation's YouTube channel and Naver TV on the 17th. This forum, now in its second year following last year, discusses how to live in an era of uncertainty amid the pandemic (global pandemic). This year's theme is "How Choices Change the World," featuring Professor Kim Kyung-il from the Department of Psychology at Ajou University, Professor Shin Ji-young from the Department of Korean Literature at Korea University, and Professor Kim Sang-hyun from the Mathematics Department at the Institute for Basic Science as speakers in the first session. In the second session, lectures will be given by Professor Choi Saet-byeol from the Department of Sociology at Ewha Womans University, Professor Jeon Jung-hwan from the College of Humanities at Kyung Hee University, and Professor Kim Heon from the Institute of Humanities at Seoul National University. Each speaker will present for 40 minutes, followed by a 30-minute panel discussion after both sessions. Participation is open to everyone, and pre-registration is available through the foundation's website.
