On the 21st, Kang conveyed this through a post on his YouTube channel, saying, "'Live Show,' 'Insane News,' and 'Concise Commute,' which were uploaded on the 'Gyeonggi Seoul Union' channel, were also deleted," adding, "Rather than losing the channel, I will suspend broadcasting for a week." He also said, "There is still a lot of time until the presidential election, and as the election approaches, Gaseyeon's role becomes more important, so I will exercise restraint for now."
Lawyer Kang and former reporter Kim Se-ui, who run Gaseyeon, announced on the 20th on the YouTube channel 'Kang Yong-seok Gyeonggi Seoul Union' that "Gaseyeon will not be able to broadcast for a week due to YouTube sanctions for 'violating medical information policies.'"
According to the Gaseyeon management team, YouTube deleted Gaseyeon videos on the 12th. Through a first warning, content uploads and live broadcasts were prohibited for one week, and Gaseyeon cannot operate for a week starting from the 20th. Channels that receive three warnings within 90 days are permanently removed from YouTube.
The problematic statements in the deleted Gaseyeon videos included remarks such as "There are also claims that vaccination is more dangerous," and "Omicron is at the level of a cold, but enforcing the quarantine pass to block it is an excessive measure."
