[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] Starting next year, the subjects for the Level 9 National Civil Service open recruitment exam will be revised.
On the 31st, the government published a guide titled 'Changes Starting from 2022' containing this information.
With the revision of the Level 9 National Civil Service open recruitment exam subjects, specialized subjects by job category will become mandatory subjects.
To enhance the job competency and work adaptability of new civil servants, specialized subjects by job category (such as Public Administration) will become mandatory, and the high school elective subjects (Social Studies, Science, Mathematics), which had been introduced to expand high school graduates' entry into public service, will be excluded.
