Naver Financial stated that necessary measures have been completed and that they are preparing countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
According to the financial sector on the 30th, on the 28th, an incident occurred in Naver Financial's MyData service where personal information of others, not the user's own information, was accessed. Coincidentally, that day was the first day Naver Financial's MyData service was launched.
Naver Financial recognized the incident and immediately took recovery measures such as blocking information access. Fortunately, no personal identification information was leaked, so there has been no damage caused by asset information exposure.
A Naver Financial official explained, "Although some member information was exposed, it has been confirmed that no additional damage occurred," and added, "Security measures were implemented as soon as the information leak was identified."
He continued, "We are carefully investigating whether there is any secondary damage," and said, "We are taking all possible measures to prevent recurrence."
