[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that Seoul City held the opening ceremony of the Youth Employment Academy Geumcheon Campus on the 28th.
The Youth Employment Academy Geumcheon Campus, located in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, is a facility established by Seoul City to train practical talents in the 4th industrial digital new technology fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Fintech, targeting young people in their 20s and 30s who have basic vocational skills and a willingness to work.
Built with a scale from basement level 1 to the 4th floor above ground, this place consists of lecture rooms, focused study spaces, lounges, and study rooms.
Geumcheon-gu has actively expressed the necessity of establishing the facility to Seoul City and related organizations in order to attract the Youth Employment Academy to G-Valley, the center of advanced industries.
The Youth Employment Academy Geumcheon Campus is expected to contribute not only to creating youth jobs but also to the future development of Geumcheon-gu's digital industry through business linkage with the currently operating Makerspace G-CAMP and Geumcheon Youth Startup Hub.
