'Industrial Complex Hinterland' Large Construction Companies in Gimhae Continue to Launch Sales
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Large construction companies are consecutively offering apartments for sale in the area around Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, which serves as a hinterland for industrial complexes.
According to the real estate sales industry on the 28th, companies such as Hanla, Junghung Construction, and GS Construction are selling apartments in the hinterland of the Gimhae industrial complex.
Hanla is selling "Gimhae Jangyu Station Hanla Vivaldi Centro" right next to Jangyu Station in Block 46 of the Naedeok District Urban Development Project in Gimhae City. The complex consists of 5 buildings, ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 29 floors above ground, with a total of 442 households. Jangyu Station, a double-track railway station on the Bujeon-Masan line, is located right next to the complex, and the Seo Gimhae General Industrial Complex and Gimhae Golden Route Industrial Complex are adjacent, making it a recognized residential area in the hinterland.
This complex allows subscription regardless of the head of household or the number of houses owned. Residents of Gimhae and those living in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam who are 19 years or older, have held a subscription savings account for more than 6 months, and meet the deposit requirements for each housing type can apply for first-priority subscription.
Junghung Construction is also supplying 1,040 households of "Junghung S-Class Complex 1" in Naedeok District within this month. They plan to sell 1,024 households of Complex 2 early next year.
Earlier, GS Construction sold "Jangyu Xi The Park" in Sinmun-dong, Gimhae City last month, recording an average competition rate of 50.4 to 1 for first-priority subscription. There were 15,428 applicants for 306 units.

An industry official said, "Areas where industrial complexes and national facilities are established attract money and people, and transportation networks and convenience facilities are rapidly expanded, increasing the popularity of apartments in these areas." He added, "The area around Gimhae Jangyu Station is lined with industrial complexes, and with the upcoming opening of the Bujeon-Masan double-track railway, it is a residential area attracting interest not only from Gimhae but also from real demand buyers in Busan."
