Hwasun-gun Produces and Distributes 'Farm Management Record Books'

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 27th that it will distribute 460 farm management record books to farms wishing to keep management records, including eco-friendly farming practice farms, small-scale leading farms, and members of item-specific learning groups, until January 30 next year.

The farm management record book can be used to record data for three years from next year through 2024 and consists of ▲farm status ▲farming diary ▲harvest and sales diary ▲management records ▲monthly summary tables, allowing easy comparison of records by year as well as aggregation.

The county expects that recording the farming situation by period and crop will help improve farm management through systematic management analysis, supplementation of agricultural management for each farm, timely farming practices, and production traceability management.

To encourage accurate record book management by farms, services for income improvement such as selecting excellent farms and participation in management analysis services and consulting will also be provided.

The farm management record books can be obtained by visiting the Agricultural Technology Center and the agricultural counseling offices in towns and townships.

An official from the Agricultural Technology Center said, “We hope that customized farm management record book preparation will help solve difficulties in the farming field and assist in farming planning,” adding, “We will do our best to develop and discover support projects to improve convenience for farmers and enhance management.”
