On the 24th, Lotte Construction announced on the 27th that it sponsored learning supplies and held a delivery ceremony at the 'Kkumnarae Community Child Center' in Junggok-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
The sponsored supplies were delivered to children residing in 13 child welfare facilities through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation. Established in 1948, the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation is a child welfare specialized organization that broadly conducts domestic and international child welfare projects, fundraising activities, and research to create a world where children can nurture their dreams and grow up upright.
In response to the increase in online learning due to the spread of COVID-19, Lotte Construction supported IT learning tools such as tablet PCs to improve the educational environment for children facing difficulties. Snack gift sets were also delivered as Christmas and year-end gifts.
This volunteer activity was conducted as a replacement for the Love House volunteer activities for residential environment improvement, which Lotte Construction had been carrying out, due to the spread of COVID-19, by providing supplies instead.
A representative from Lotte Construction said, "We will continue activities in various places to fulfill the company's social responsibility and share warm love with society."
