[Tomorrow's Weather] Cloudy with Cold Wave from Noon... Heavy Snow at Night in Gangwon Yeongdong
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 24th, a day before Christmas, the nation will be mostly cloudy, with cold air moving southward from midday, making it colder.
Some areas are expected to have cold wave warnings or cold wave advisories issued.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -4 and 5 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 1 and 13 degrees Celsius. In Gangwon Yeongdong, heavy snow will fall strongly from around 9 PM until the early morning of the next day, accumulating significantly. The expected snowfall over two days is 5 to 20 cm.
In northern Gyeonggi, precipitation in the form of rain or snow is expected from morning to afternoon, and in eastern Gyeonggi and Gangwon Yeongseo, some areas will see rain or snow, while other parts of the metropolitan area may experience flurries.
Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in Sejong, Chungbuk, and Daegu, while other regions will range from 'good' to 'normal'. However, the metropolitan area, Daejeon, Chungnam, Gwangju, and Jeonbuk are expected to have 'bad' levels in the morning.
Strong winds will blow from night in the western coastal areas of Chungnam and Jeolla, as well as Jeju Island. Most seas will also experience strong winds and high waves, so ships engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
