Yongsan Craft Center Christmas Theme 'Children's Dream Garden' Exhibition
By the End of the Year, Outdoor Exhibits on 1st and 4th Floors of Craft Center... 'Children's Dream Garden' Exhibition... [Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (Mayor Seongjang Hyun) Yongsan Craft Center (274 Itaewon-ro) is exhibiting works themed around Christmas until January 2, 2022. Admission is free.
Until the end of the year, over 100 Christmas ceramic ornaments are displayed on the 1st floor and the outdoor area of the 4th floor of the Craft Center, along with a photo zone. The ornaments were made by children who participated in the Children's Day event last May. The exhibition is titled "Children's Dream Garden."
A representative of Yongsan Craft Center said, "It is already December, and we are proud to showcase the works carefully made by children with their small hands," adding, "We hope all the children who participated in the event dreaming of a happy Christmas stay healthy."
Also, until January 2, about 30 Western knot works are exhibited in the sales area on the 1st floor of Yongsan Craft Center. The exhibition is titled "Christmas Fairy Tale." The warm and comfortable sensibility unique to artist Eunji Lee, CEO of Somnia Macrame, is reflected in the works. Some works can also be viewed at the Yongsan Craft Promotion Center "Gonggan," located on the 3rd floor of the Living Hall in Yongsan Station I'Park Mall.
The Craft Center is a facility where the vaccination pass is mandatorily applied on each floor according to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters' special quarantine measures. Except for the 1st floor, sales area, and rooftop garden, the basement, 2nd and 3rd floor workshops, and 4th floor exhibition rooms are accessible only to those who have completed vaccination at least 14 days prior, possess a PCR negative certificate issued within 48 hours, or are youths under 18 years old.
Seongjang Hyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, said, "I heard many people are looking for photo spots to enjoy the year-end atmosphere," and added, "I hope many people show interest in this exhibition where families can calmly feel the Christmas spirit."

Yongsan Craft Center is located near Exit 3 of Hangangjin Station on Subway Line 6. In celebration of the upcoming Christmas, some craft works such as mother-of-pearl mobiles and crystal crafts are also being sold at a 10% discount until the end of the year.
