Hampyeong County and Jeonnam Provincial University Join Hands to Revitalize Lifelong Vocational Education
‘San-Hak-Gwan Governance Establishment Agreement Signing Ceremony’ Held
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County and Jeonnam Provincial University have joined hands to revitalize lifelong vocational education in the region.
According to the county on the 23rd, a business agreement ceremony for the activation of lifelong learning was held on the 22nd at the Hampyeong County Office, County Governor's Office.
The ceremony was attended by Lee Sang-ik, Governor of Hampyeong County, Park Byung-ho, President of Jeonnam Provincial University, and officials from both organizations.
Through the agreement, the county and the provincial university agreed to actively cooperate in establishing governance between local governments and universities to revitalize lifelong vocational education in the region.
According to the agreement, the county will identify residents' needs, propose lifelong vocational education courses to the university, and provide administrative and institutional support for employment linkage.
The university plans to develop various lifelong vocational education programs for county residents and provide education tailored to local demand to support the cultivation of local talent.
