Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance Signs Insurance Development MOU with Kakao Pay
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 23rd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kakao Pay to develop new business models and revitalize the platform insurance market.
The two companies plan to provide differentiated customer services through the development of new products, new business models, and innovation in the compensation process.
Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance will focus on collaborating to develop microinsurance products that cover everyday risks in a non-face-to-face environment. A new product targeting office workers will be launched in January next year.
Additionally, they plan to strengthen service competitiveness by launching insurance products linked to the core services provided by Kakao Pay.
